Prevention is better than cure, and there’s no better product that speaks to this than a good multivitamin for your pufferfish.
The multivitamin works in a multitude of ways, by preventing disease, promoting gill health, and helping with recovery.

Dropsy is caused due to an infected kidney, usually through contact with bacteria. It doesn’t just occur out of nowhere. As with most problems mentioned, it starts with poor water quality and then also the appearance of tiny organisms in the tank. You’ll immediately notice the swollen stomach and loss of appetite because of dropsy.

Your pufferfish has a clamped fin, now what?
Well, for starters identify why it happened and if it is a clamped fin.
