2. Crested Gecko Feels Aggressive in the Enclosure

You have to understand the characteristics of a reptile while petting a crested gecko. You should arrange plenty of branches, leaves, and the herb in the enclosure because they love to climb and hide.

A newborn crested gecko feels uncomfortable in an enormous cage. A 6-gallon cage is good enough to keep a 15-20 gram crested gecko. 

Shift your crested geckos to a 15-30 gallons terrarium once it is 20 grams. Very large or very small terrarium makes crested geckos uncomfortable. 

Keep the terrarium above a table or a stand. Also, make sure there are optimal temperature and humidity inside the cage.

Prepare a gradient in the cage so that tank dries out in humid weather.

Never start handling your crested geckos immediately after bringing them home. Wait for them to settle in an unfamiliar environment. Give them at least a month till they feel better. 

If it is their mating season leave them alone for some time. Normally crested geckos get normal in a month or two.
